My Happy by Sarah Rosse

Hello scrappy peeps, Sarah here with another layout for you using the gorgeous April Crop Kit.
This kit has the beautiful My Minds Eye 'Happy Camper' papers, chipboard elements and die cut pieces in it. Wow! What fun I had trying to decided which pieces to use....what a great collection that can be used for layouts other than camping - the great outdoors, adventures and many more. The monthly Crop kits are a great way to get a tone of coordinating product, layout ideas and instructional sheets. Find out more about the kits or subscribe in store by clicking here. I started by spreading some white gesso over the background paper just to tone the pattern down a little. I loved this paper as the brown text matched nicely with the brown cowboy images on my son's teepee in the photo. I used the Lindy's Stamp Gangs Moon Shadow Mist and Starburst products to create a background with some sparkle. The large range of the Lindy's Stamp Gang products can be found in store here. My chosen adhesive (loving it at the moment!) is the Helmar quick dry adhesive. This is the best adhesive I have used in a long time - drys quickly as the name indicates and is great when you are trying to position your embellishments in place.
I hope you enjoyed this layout and thanks for stopping by!

Shop and Crop leftover layout!!!

Good morning, Rikki here for the Shop and Crop today, and today is all about stash busting and how to use some of your older products with some new ones...... this is something I like to do from time to time, it works really well when your trying to be good and not spend.

Also its great because I have a tray on my desk which I keep some odds and ends like some bits left over from the Shop and Crop kits. So if your like me this is the layout for you.

I was given the Lindy's Stamp Gang - Little Lindy - Try Me Set - Tiffany's Blue set to try and as the months have gotten away from me I forgot about them , but I remember and they are really easy to use, I laid down my gold mist first allowed that to dry and then misted water directly on the page.... where I wanted the blue to go.

The Lindy's Stamp Gang powders are great to sprinkle directly onto the mist water , just sprinkle and your done.....

Dont forget to use your stencils, just trace around some objects with a lead pencil to add interest on your background, even scribble a circle before you stick your layers down.

Washi tape is another great thing to have handy, a simple grid really works on a plain background.

Another handy hint is keep your pizza box that your kits /orders come in you can cut up the card and use them in between your layers to give yourself some dimension....

So I hope I have inspired you to use some of your stash..... till next time have a creative day.

#So Sweet Layout with Anita Bownds

Hi there,
Happy Wednesday today I'm sharing a layout using one of my NeatNCraftyCutz cutfiles
And I've taken a few photos of how I added the patterned paper to the back of the cutfile cut

I started by adding a border behind my white cardstock
I added machine stitching around the edge

I added the green patterned paper behind for the leaves
I fussy cut heaps of flowers out and popped them on pop dots

After added all the leaves I used double sided foam tape and popped it up
Away from the cardstock and did the same to the flowers

Here is my cut file I used for this layout

You can find it here

I layered the flowers in a bunch

And layered patterned paper and a bit of vellum that I die cut with a doily die
And I added my title a simple layout with lots of wow!

check out the shop and crop website

Another layout using October's Crop kit !!!!

Good morning Rikki here today to show you how to use ever bit of your Shop and Crop Crop kit for October, this is something that I often try to make sure I do, as I am really trying not to add to my ever growing stash..... and lets face it if you have your kit out why not keep going?

The only thing that I added to this layout is some vellum from my stash and thats good because I am using what I have...... if you dont have vellum you can skip this layer or, you could try and use some baking paper.... it would give you that sheer look without buying anything new.

The Hooray layer is from your packaging on the acrylic shapes..... why throw it out when is so pretty....

Dont forget you still have time to enter this months Sketch challenge....... got to be in it to win it!!!!

Also dont forget:

When you subscribe to a
kit subscription will receive $5 off their first kit all you need is my code you just punch it in at the check out. Also this includes any other order you do at Shop and Crop......

Discount code : RG5

Till next time, have a creative day
